Marilyn Pendergast Presented with IFAC Sempier Award

The International Federation of Accountants' (IFAC) Sempier Award was awarded today to UHY LLP's Marilyn Pendergast for her contributions to the profession as chair of the organization's Ethics Committee.

Through her 10 years of involvement with the committee - including service as chair from 1999 to 2004 - Ms. Pendergast oversaw the restructuring of the IFAC Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants to ensure the Code's relevancy in the global marketplace.
