Brams, CPA, has been appointed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) to serve as a member of the SEC Regulations Committee for the 2007-08 volunteer service year beginning in October.

The SEC Regulations Committee meets periodically with the staff of the SEC to discuss emerging technical accounting and reporting issues relating to SEC rules and regulations. The committee's mission is to protect investors by improving the quality of public-company financial reporting.
